Suddenly and out of nowhere 4-5 new agents appeared and opened more windows, and the long line became many short ones. We were through there in 10 more minutes and it was a short walk to our gate. What a relief! One more leg to go. Because of the rebooking the last leg was coach. But we didn't care at this point.

The Scare at Frankfurt
Frankfurt is a huge airport and we were concerned when we saw the aircraft park away from the terminal on the Tarmac along with many other planes. This meant we had to take a bus to the terminal from the plane. That worked out in the end as the bus came right away and we were n the terminal quickly. But no one had explained what would happen once inside. We walked upstairs into a huge area where we had to clear customs. There were already long lines and few agents working the windows. To make it worse we were directed into a shorter line and made our way to the front quickly only to discover that line was only for people with Eurozone passports. We had to go to the back of another long, winding line and by now there was less than an hour before boarding time. It looked hopeless for making that connection and we were envisioning another missed flight.
